This section describes the commonly used terms in Promotions API.

BasketA basket on the POS system contains products sold to the customer.
CouponsA ticket that allows customers to avail discounts for a product.
OfferAn added value provided to the customer, for example, a discount or loyalty points when a transaction meets specified conditions.
Loyalty AccountAn account that stores loyalty points and rewards earned by a loyalty program member.
Loyalty CardA retailer can provide loyalty cards to registered customers and enroll the customers in a new loyalty program. It is used for customer identification.
Loyalty PointsA type of currency commonly used in loyalty programs to redeem products and services.
Loyalty ProgramA set of rules configured in Vynamic Engage system used to create a rewards system for a retailer; rules that define loyal customers membership conditions, loyalty accounts creation, spending, and earning loyalty points; a structured marketing strategy created by the retailer and offered to customers to reward their loyalty.
Promotion MessageA personalized message that inform customers about future offers and promotions.
Stamp CardsA stamp card is a virtual card that allows a customer to collect stamps. The customer receives a benefit when the defined number of stamps are completed.
TransactionA retail transaction to finalize a purchase on the POS system.
ActionsA collection of objects suffixed with the term 'Actions'. It contains actions to be executed to process offer execution.
CountersCounters are used to process offer limitations. Each offer is associated with certain limitations. Only when all the counters are processed, the offer is executed.
