This section describes the most commonly used terms in Marketing API.

| Marketing Hierarchy | The Marketing API uses the following hierarchical structure to organize and group promotional activities: - Campaigns - Promotions - Offers |
| Campaign | The campaign is at the highest level and contains multiple promotions. It allows you to set a high-level goal for your marketing strategy. |
| Promotions | The promotion contains multiple offers. It is mandatory to create an offer. |
| Offers | The offer is the main object defined by the Marketing Services. It describes a set of conditions and benefits related to a product purchase. When the conditions are fulfilled, then the relevant coupons, discounts, stamps, or loyalty points are issued as benefits. |
| Internal Offer Id | Unique identifier of the offer defined by the Vynamic Engage Services. |
| External Offer Id | Unique identifier of the offer defined by an external or third-party systems. |
| Attribute | An attribute is a user-defined item property that can be configured within an offer definition as an item qualifier. |
